Gruntilda says that Banjo's game ends in her tower and tells her henchman to pull the lever. She is using a contraption to steal Tooty's youth so she can be the most beautiful. When the game reappears, the player finds themselves back at Gruntilda's lair, where the witch is taking Tooty's life force. When you press A, Gruntilda cackles, and the game fades out in a similar fashion to when Banjo & Kazooie lose a life. After her spiel, she provides you an option to unlock the full game by pressing X or you can give up by pressing A. She then tells you to buy Banjo-Kazooie to carry on playing. Gruntilda, the villain of the game then barks at you and says that the free trial is over and tells you that this is where you're staying. The short demo cuts you off when you collect 3 Jiggys, the main collectibles in the 3D platformer. Rare is a British game developer that's always been a bit cheeky, and at the end of Banjo- Kazooie's demo on Xbox 360, it gives you a game over if you don't buy the game.
